Scott
Managing Director
Hailing from New Zealand, Scott has sailed extensively, working charter seasons for YCA and Sunsail before spending 5 years in the super yacht industry. After selling his marine service business in Auckland he moved to England in 2000 to manage Southsea Marina’s engineering operations before starting 1 Degree West Marine 2002.
Nathan
Operations Manager
A keen sailor and cyclist, Nathan graduated from Portsmouth University with a Marine Technology degree and has many years of experience as a Marine Engineer & refit Project Manager. After joining 1 Degree West Marine in 2011 he took over the role of Operations Manager in 2016.
Callum
Apprentice Marine Engineer
Callum joined us in January 2021 and has shown he is quick to learn and an eager worker. He is a keen sailor with his own yacht and started a full apprenticeship with 1 Degree West Marine in 2022.
Marianne
Admin Assistant
Marianne is our loyal Admin Assistant. She has been with us since 2011 and is very important to the running of the office.
Gary
Branch Manager
Gary is our loyal Branch Manager, Security Guard and general “good boy”. He can often be found relaxing in the sun by the office door ready to greet visitors with a warm welcome.
Ebbie
Support Manager
Ebbie keeps our team smiling while reminding us to slow down and enjoy the moment. Although, she can also wake us up by hitting us and everything around with her tail.
